Set Your Intentions

I enjoy recapping on my day, like what can I add to my routine or why did I feel so lazy today. I consider the ways I want to feel when I'm making decisions that I clearly know the why behind them.

You have to put yourself first. I put myself on the top of the list. Your physical and mental health is important. Take back your schedule and energy, don't plan your day around someone, like hanging out after work or having dinner on a Saturday. If you don't want to go, don't. If you already made plans for yourself, keep those plans. I enjoy focusing on myself, because its the best way to keep myself fully present in work, with my family, and friends. I'm setting my intention to focus on my well-being and saving my energy for my priorities. Be mindful and intentional with where and how you want to spend your time.

Be honest with yourself and others. Your intentions aren't to hurt others and make them feel uncomfortable. Being honest can help your relationships become stronger and gain trust. It's imperative to truly live in alignment with your priorities, you have to be direct and honest. Remember, to be kind in your words and you are not responsible for other's feelings. You can't absorb their negative emotion. Keep the intention of honesty for yourself. You can't lie to yourself and others.

Another intention to include is adding more movement into your day. I believe this one is always on the mind. This is possible to achieve. You have set your mind on what you want and what you need to prioritize, even if its 30 minutes of movement each day. It can be easy as a light walk, taking the stairs, or an easy workout. The idea is that your are moving your body, rather than sitting all day. Live an active life and feel your absolute best.

I want all of you to be nourished and fulfilled by the way you set your intentions, time, and how you took care of yourself, friends, family, and career. What are your priorities?
